Hey, sorry to have been leaving the blog for about a month now. Happy February – 10 days not-too-late! How’s the resolution for the year going? I didn’t really have mine; it was a bit of a relief not having the pressure to not succeed in anything but it kind of suck as well because you don’t know what you want for the year too. Well, I guess – same old, same old. What I want is just to be a better person in general – note to self: got to specify things to improve in my journal.

So, what I have been up to lately. At the moment, I’m missing KL and Zukry. It’s not a good combo as both are hundreds kilometres away, that made it suck-ier. Is there such word? SUCKIER. Heh! But we did enjoy our stay in KL for Chinese New Year late Jan. A little birthday celebration, a lot of helping out Kaklong for her wedding – whatever we were assigned with and just a 4 days-stay-at-home break.

We were assigned for the rosette or ‘buttonaire’ for the ‘penanggah’. The other assignment is the decorations for the cars of the 2 couples, which will be requiring Zukry’s service as one of the drivers. Aik, macam sket aje – but after 150 flower modified, berbangga jugaklah dengan hasilnya. You guys belum tengok what my Kak Ngah (that’s my cousin) made for Hantaran! Bravo!

I spent a good amount of money (justifying self!) on books at Kinokuniya. Who have better books selection if not Kinokuniya! What did I buy? Let’s see... 3 sewing books that comes with patterns including one from Cath Kidston with the necessities to create a Cath Kidston bag which I didn’t get to buy in London and another from Burdastyle. Yes, from the Burdastyle – the website which shares free patterns online! There are a lot of great pictures of simple projects in the book. Next, Julie and Julia the novel which assist the cooking fever I had immediately after (I haven’t finish reading it) and a couple of motivational stuffs (on handling stress & managing people)

In the process of clearing up debt from my London trip (which is all cleared by the way! Yeay...~) I actually bought 2 other things online. Boo, Teeny! I received it, and paid full – no debt whatsoever. Seriously... I just recently had a makan2 at my house – invited a few friends over and made Nasi Mandy / Mandi / Mandhi – whatever. It tasted OK. The rice and the chicken, the others were contribution from others. Desserts, Dhal from Visu, Muffins from Kak Adda, etc. It’s a different feeling to be home alone on weekdays, together with Zukry on weekends and a few more friends once in a while. Miri can be so fulfilling at times, and not-so at many other times... Let’s not go there, Alhamdulillah for EVERYTHING Ya Allah :)

Why We Went for a Getaway in London

Good evening readers.

I was fallen into sleep right after I came back from work... Awaken by an SMS from husband, now I feel like I can't sleep. Hopefully just for a little while longer. I need to get up early tomorrow! I must! Early means, maximum - at 0600 Hours. Thank you :)

OK, to let out of my system - I want to tell you how we ended up having a getaway to London (again). We were there for THE HONEYMOON in 2010, not that long ago - and at that time I remember agreeing with Zukry that we should do London again... if time and all other things permit. So, if I can stay sane for the next 20 minutes, I should be able to finish this write up. Oh, and I haven't been writing properly in my journal about this, so might as well...

It came about when Zukry received a notification email from Airasia regarding its change on London Airport from Stansted to Gatwick; where it came with promotion priced ticket! I think a what was offered was RM599++ (I think!) So, he calculated two tickets with food & luggage, it came about to RM 2400ish / pax. He got excited, PM-ed me about it. Well, I can't say NO when the husband had already suggested it, can I? :P

But the price increase a bit the next day, Zukry was then unsure. Taklah byk sgt... about RM100+. So he was contemplating. He was giving all sort of other reasons, we should not take up the "GOING" decision. It's too fast, we had our Kinabalu and Singapore trips, we had this, that... nak balik KL, kampung and macam2 others lah. So I provoked :P (The ticket we got for Gulf Air in 2010 was RM3300ish rasanya)

"Ha, tak berani lah tu nak take chances. Beli jelah... We'll sort out other stuffs. I dare you"

(Lebih kurang lah. Note that I called him at his office to say this!)

On the same day, he bought the tickets. Total of RM 2600/pax. He arranged the food so that one would get an international dish while the other a Malaysian ones. For return, twice servings per flight. Luggage, he brilliantly added 15 Kg for the return ticket. This happened with very minimal Teeny's advice :) A big lesson learnt from our 2010 trip :) He knows which means he too contributed in the shopping department. Hehehe...

OK, tu jelah. I may not have write this up so dramatically as it happened. But it happened. We bought the ticket in October. Had a big Excel File of our planning.

A tab for schedule - down to what to wear daily, which I only filled up to 3rd day... the remaining days I was supposed to be wearing things that I bought on 1-2-3 day. Hihihi.
A tab for things we have bought. Example: Train tickets like Gatwick Express (similar to our ERL), National rail tickets for our trip to Oxford & Bicester Town (for Bicester Village), Musicals ticket that we bought online too etc.
A tab on things we should be consider like Ice Skating at Winter Wonderland Hyde Park...
A tab for budget. What we have paid earlier, what we have to pay... and a little table for my shopping which include one luxury item that I finally decided not to use.

To make it all more exciting, Zukry won a trip to London exactly 2 weeks before our planned trip happen. So it was a good preparation where he get to advise on whether I could tolerate the weather, how long it takes from Gatwick to Victoria, getting around Bayswater cause that's where he stayed, etc.

Best, kan? I think so too ;)

Teeny's Facial Stuffs

I’m not such a girly girl when it comes ‘mendandan’ diri. Well, to start with; perfect complexion was never me. And as soon as puberty hits – pimples can be categorized as one of my close friends ;) I remember using all sort of products starting from; of course, Johnsons’ Clean & Clear, susu kambing ones lah... macam2. I guess, Mak lah ajar kot. Mak bought me a set from Shaklee – takingat dah ape ntah nama set product dia in 2006 and then continued with Clinique in 2007 (yes, masa tu i dah kerja. It was birthday present :D)

It comes like this in a box 'poslaju'-d to me in Miri complete with a shoulder bag - you know, the usual complimentary thing...

I also at one point of time used Lancome. I bought a whole set at Eraman, KLIA. But unfortunately, I lost its moisturizer. I don't know how that happened, but when I got home in Miri - I had that thought of missing something. Only realized it was the moisturizer a few days after... The thing is, the moisturizer is usually the most expensive compared to the cleanser & toner, together!

No wonder, for a while I was super stressed (Yeah, right! :P)

And then, came Biotherm. If not mistaken I actually use the moisturizer twice. Once with the Lancome set and another time, a complete Biotherm set. I actually love the smell of Pore Reducer Moisturizer from Biotherm ni. I guess, since I brought it to London in 2010 - everytime i put in on here in Malaysia, brings back memory. Boleh gitu? :) The first trip in 2010, we knew to put extra moisturizer on all over our body because it was summer and the humidity kan low kat sana compared to here. It was a big deal applying body lotion, chapstick, face moisturizer...

After a few months (not long) trying on to things like Clean & Clear, Simple - over Giant, Watson's, Guardian product - now I’m using Clarins. Nak kata loyal, takdelah... but a repeat customer lah. Just a started last year, and bought another set just earlier this month.

The first set I bought at Parkson KLCC. RM500 + jugaklah... well as usual, it comes with a few miniature stuffs. (Read: Miniature ye) I was a satisfied customer. Nak describe feeling it brings tu - taklah significant sangat... But so far, OK. I like their moisturizer too. Sampai licin the whole bottle :) My problem with oily face tu probably lessen due to air-conditioned office. I didn't use the toner, cause Mak gave me Murad to use. So I kept Clarins toner for the next set.

The second set I bought at Harrods, London :) I feel satisfied buying product worth about RM370 for the cleanser, moisturizer and this time, additional scrub! I thought it was a bargain! Plus, I was given a few of other stuffs too and there are not miniatures! They includes a hydra-quench serum, travel sized scrub, body lotion, body scrub with a mascara and two make-up bags! (not in picture)

All that for less what I paid for the first time! BEST :) and it's a different feeling altogether when you walk around London with a Harrods plastic bag. Kan? :) (In my case, there were 2 plastic bags. One with Mak's Longchamp... Hehe) OKlah, tu je. Taktau kenapa semangat nak tulis pasal facial stuffs that I have been using :) Muka sama aje. Manis... Haha!

Something to walk on this 2012

I have a list of things to buy before we leave for London. I know many things will fit me better with whatever they have to offer :) Sorry Malaysia, but the have my size! I need to not grow my feet but they did... Huhu. One of the many things were Clarks shoe. No other (but I did bought one from Primark too. I thought it's rather cheap, comfy and most importantly not pig-skin-lining.

So among all things on the sale rack, in my size I just can go and run for them... I just got to go to the new arrivals. Berlagak kan? But seriously, I just don't have the heart to choose the off season ones... I pick these instead :)

I think they are good buys. I haven't rock the sandal, will do tomorrow insyaAllah :)

I'm turning another year wiser this Saturday... My last twenties and it is going to be the best year! A week has passed the new year 2012, a week holiday is over and I still have a lot to look forward to...

London was as awesome as i remember from my 2010 trip. This was my second trip and Zukry's third after his unexpected QPR vs. MU Directors Box all expense ticket from a simple twitter competition by Tony Fernandes. Read his post about his trip here.

I really donno how to start writing again this new year. It's been a while since i really write stuffs. Before anything, A very good new year to all readers. I shall come back. Very soon!

Wedding Weekend!

Not sure what or how to feel these few days. So many things happenings around me. To me, to others, to everything... at one time, I could feel a sudden joy and disappointment. (now Adele's Someone Like You is on MTV~ sadisnya walaupun lagu ini tidak memberi sebarang makna to my current life...)

Anyway, another 2 days working before my short holiday begins! This Friday - my best friend in the whole wide world, Mawarni is getting married. Yeay! Ustaz Nazri nama bakalnya whom I have not met and frankly a little nervous about because he's not our age and he's an ustaz :) I'm ready to rock my baju kurung yang mahal nak mampos tapi hanya utk cutting~ seriously overpriced and matching selendang which was also a tad too expensive for a little work done... But whatever...! Yang penting, I'm going... Over2 sangat kang, bukan wedding den! :)

My cousin who was just booked is getting married this February and I'm glad to be involved as much as she was with mine a few years back! (Wah, dah lama ke?) It was confirmed that I'll be in charge with:

I was totally obsessed with finding "Notting Hill" & "Love Actually" for that piece of bumi England :) Notting Hill has never fail me. Love is out there, really. For all those who's searching for your other half, believe and those with one, put efforts to make it bloom everyday :)

I've not been to Notting Hill, and almost definitely will if I get to go to London again. I know that the Travel Book Shop is not there, nor will be William Thacker's blue door flat (or ada sebenarnya? hmmm... must go google and find out :P)

Next up is "Love Actually" - see bits and pieces of London and dream of where to go this lovely Sunday. (Hujan, so kurang sket rasa kepanasan... Alhamdulillah)

I really should be finishing up my appraisal!!! I have thoughts in mind yang belum dilist inside the system. Hope to start and finish it somehow. But what about another Rom-com? :P

Color Blocking

Hi there! How are you doing? :) TGIF, kan? Zukry datang lagi this week, yeay!

Look who tried color blocking today! Well, I've made a few attempts but sometimes it didn't feel right. But today, I feel extremely confident! Don't ask me why. I was not even thinking twice about meeting my GM for signature on a penalty payment due! That was bad news, but I was up there with a smile; waiting - Seb baik dia sibuk, tak sempat jumpe pun :P

Anyways, today out of nowhere - the idea of color blocking came and happened. It was casual Friday day. If you were at around my workstation, you should notice that I was in theme this whole week, you know? Sree if you are reading this, what was the theme? Soalan cepu emas!

Hi reader :) What do you have for 'minum petang' this hot & sunny Sunday? We are having vacuumed keropok lekor. Sedap! Especially when it's hot and crispy. Hehehe... I'm glad that today was productive. Despite the 'waking up late', we managed to do what were planned. Which were:

- to pick up all comforters at the laundry (RM78 for all 5 of them)

- have a quick hair trim and pampered self to a good shampoo complete with a head and shoulder massage. In my case, the stylist gave me a hand massage too! I'm glad I complaint about her using nails on my scalp because she actually did a really good job without!

- buy Mizan's mattress! Invested to another Dreamland product with a divan on clearance sale. I hope single is OK with Mizan as the super single comes with a much expensive divan :S I'm so excited about him coming over! Wonder how my days will be like with him around... Masa menganggur dulu, pernah bagi dia facial depan TV! Haha!

Our things-to-do was kept at minimal today. I for one, have had a tremendous weekend even before Sunday came today :) Yesterday, I hosted a mini jamuan raya for a few of my close friends / colleagues. After about 2 months living on my own, I think I've got the hang of 'having my own place' (even if it's not mine per se) I however, ter-went over and beyond on the spread. I decided to have lontong and nasi lemak when I sent out the invitation, and adding Soto last minute cause I thought my choice was a bit too santan-ish.

Look at that... Menarik, kan? Sambal sotong is under the tudung saji. Begedil was courtesy of Zukry's hard work. I'm proud of my Lontong although it was not as popular as I thought it would be! Huhuhu... And as you can see, my collection of tupperwares were put on display and they are indeed very helpful and put more colors on the table.

Cleaning up was a major job! I had all put away, realizing I have so much stuffs! Too much if I may say. Much to a disappointing note, all were clothes that I couldn't fit in but still keeping them for 'motivation' to shrink self down. Yeah, right. It was all over the place, on the sofa, on the floor in my room, hanging on the doors of my closets. Everywhere! Same goes to my head scarves!!! Banyak

gile OK. Yes, you can see them hang nicely on my IKEA hangers, but I actually have more inside a pail that i put away in the back room :P

All in all - it was indeed a productive weekend. Hoping for more productive days ahead! Enjoy the remaining of your Sunday everyone! :) Toodles.

tomorrow is a holiday! it's the in lieu of sarawak tyt's birthday on saturday. by the way, this saturday i'm inviting some of my friends over to my house for makan-makan raya ;) i had my freak out moment yesterday, maybe to be continued later after work.

things to do include:

-kemas rumah (done)

-shop for ingredients for lontong and nasi lemak (yes, i'll be serving that. wish me all the luck in the world!)

-re-arrange furniture sket2. not much space left but yeah, still need to rearrange. if i could throw away current sofa and bring in a new one would be perfect but that's too much for now. hehehe.

-beli tilam coz mizan is visiting next week! yahoo! or should i frown? huhu... more to yahoo! coz i have teman when i go back home after work! yeayyyyy!

hopefully taklupa utk ambil2 gambar coz jarang jemput org dtg rumah. except for maybe kaklaila and the imans. shout out to them! hello sg petani! ;)

selamat hari raye

selamat hari raya aidilfitri. dah seminggu dah raya! it feels too fast and i already miss the first day of raya. the joy of wearing new clothes, the feeling of eating anytime i want after a month of fasting, the preparation like frying begedil, chit-chat with cousins, best!

now, i know i've been eating too much! need to fast again, asap. but today i'm going off to kuching plak :( alasan huh? takpe insyaallah this year hajatnya penuh 6 days of syawal to fast too.

anyways, this raya was filled with wedding bells! my cousins are getting married! yahoo, more family bondings ;) we may need to postpone our travelling plans but whatever it is, i wanna make sure that i'm involved with these weddings! satu menda paling important - baju2 baru utk matchy2 with other relatives definitely a must!

yang takberapa bestnya, these wedding bells have pushed us (teenyrkuz) to have babies! macam2 petua / cynical remarks keluar. maintain macho, tp adalah terasa sket2.bole ke jadi mak yg best sbnrnya? main beranak je, basic kenalah hebat jgk. one thing for sure, i'm looking forward to have a family... so don't worry - i pray that we'll get one soon. marilah doa sesama ;)

meanwhile, i'm in the mood to make my senadin's house more homely. in fact homelier than it is now. nak cari new bed for mizan or any other future guests coming to visit me here... one more dream item to have in my house - humungous mirror. sekian...

A little update~

Hey ho, just a little picture updates. All were taken with my Nokia E71, so harap maklum dengan kualiti :)

Lihatlah, our kebanggaan of working hard on two weekends! Well, probably 70% Zukry's and 30% Teeny but we didn't even call pemotong rumput tu like usual. The lalang were just too disturbing and sometimes a little scary too :S manalah tau, ada ape hidup in between tu kan... wah! In the effort to clean our backyard, terpaksa bakar the daun2 cause taktau nak buat camne dah. The lalang memang teramatlah panjang~

This was when the movement news were on the air. Who's going where?! and Why?! Too much talking, not much of changes happening - so yeah, i just got to write this down. Somehow, terpanggil utk bergossip too :P

Sampailah waktu berpuasa - alone. Mee Kungfu, bertemankan Oprah while berbuka. Sedap, cepat dan berkhasiat - iyeke?! :) The first week went by quite quickly, and berbuka 5 days alone, and try to cook lavishly on the weekend for dearest husband and me. Lihatlah hasilnya:

A little treat while I was on business trip back to KL - Alhamdulillah, i got the chance to go back even though I was put in a difficult position in the meeting itself. Wargkh! Nevermind that, the most important thing is that I get to go back and berbuka di rumah :) The books were randomly chosen. I was in the mood of sewing what with the new sewing machine, Baby is taking up sewing class too... so I just got to grab Martha Stewart's Encyclopedia on Sewing. The other one, Style by Lauren Conrad - this I has been eyeing in MPHOnline but never actually bought :)

A little example on what sewing fever has done to me. A new baju kurung, that's the collar that I'm quite proud of :) The inside seams are everywhere cause I didn't 'jahit tepi' the cloth! InsyaAllah, nak sembat kalo extreme rajin.

Another project that I'm proud of. This is one of the 3 pairs of curtain i sewed for Zukry's home in Labuan :) Yeay!!!

I'm Hot!

I have noticed that the weather nowadays are more likely to give you sunburn if not panting for water. PANAS! Usually, I feel like it's hotter somehow during Ramadhan but this time it started way earlier.

I berpeluh too fast. I feel like having another round of bath just everytime I finished house chores. Like these two weekends, were the weekends we get to spend together at my newly emptied house (Well, rumah tak kosong - lah) which is cool cause I finally get to feel how it is if we were to live together insyaAllah soon...

I shouldn't be complaining with the amount of time Zukry spent in front of the TV, if not for football then it's PS3 playing football - as he hasn't get the chance to do it in Labuan kan. So, dalam pada takbagi can - bagi jugak... So while that is happening I'll be scrubbing off bathroom floors, rearranging furniture, masak, doing the dishes, kerja2 rumahlah... Taktipu! Macam tipu, cause this is rare... but sempena Ramadhan ni, taktipu! :) Our back yard is now clean! No more lalang, hopefully in these few weeks time. Dah tebas, bako and racun! Hehehe... proud! Tapi BRAVO tu Zukry for all his hardwork. I contribute beli cangkul, buat air, provide lighter utk bako lalang kering. Hehe...

Anyway, back to cerita panas tadi. Ha, memang musim berpeluhlah. At these times, i miss my room at home. Ada aircond :) sini, serba sederhana. nak aircond, tapi taknak bayo bill - camne?

So, first day turn out OK. Did all that I plan and want to do. Onto tomorrow, and the rest of Ramadhan ... Toodles

Ramadhan Kelima di Miri

Can you believe that? Yes, it will be my fifth Ramadhan in Miri this Monday :) And this year, I'm doing it differently. How different? Waking up alone for Sahur and hopefully, not alone for Iftar. Pathetic, no? I don't know... Yang penting, it's here! :)

1. 2 minggu berturut2 dapat balik KL. Beli mesin jahit, host kenduri and birthday party - seronok! :) Jumpa SEMUA ORANG. except for my girlfriends... (yang pd mulanya semangat, tapi masing2 bertanggungjawab atas sesuatu kemudiannya... RAYA NANTI plak!)

2. Accelerated Capability Development (ACD) Assessment - Haruslah study lebih utk close lebihan gap yang masih ada. Sila find time, and make the house extra conducive to study! At the moment, macam dilanda tornado!

3. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows : Part 2!!! - menanti Zukry yang bakal tiba esok. Lepas tu, boleh ronggeng HP sebelum super serious about studying... (Punyalah last minute punya budak!) Tengoklah how adorable these two are. I first read the book when i was in UTM. Hooked punya pasal, that year i finished all 3 books and wait for book no 4,5,6 and 7... Sponsor lah bagi duit i beli all these books. So make sure, sponsor kasi duit masyuk - senang nak enjoy buku/muzik/mags while studying. ewah... takde kena mengena. jangan tiru aksi ini.

I'm glad that I managed to finish a book last week. It was the Shopaholics series by Sophia Kinsella :) Nothing heavy. I haven't been reading or finish up all the books I started.

I'm now on another chic lit, Girl on The Run. A story about a girl who find running fun with a little motivation from super cute Running Club president. I have this huge hope to start running; hopefully to accompany Zukry during his rounds practicing for Feel Good Run in July and doing it for real - me.

You know, reading these books is a real pleasure. I forgot how I have so much wonderment that I haven't explore since I last complete a whole book. It was more of imagining a place, specifically in these books; England. I don't know every street in London, or any other place in England - Liverpool / Manchester - whatever. Now that I've been to London, I get more ideas on what to wonder.

Like Harry Potter, without the movie; i probably would have imagine Hermione Granger to be super nerd and never like Emma Watson - seriously! Mgkn rambut Hermione will forever be kembang. Huhu...

On to planning our next trip, maybe I should start reading books on places I planned to visit. Tapi, ada ke? Lainlah if the place is New York kan. But nah... not going there yet. Maybe lllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaattttttttttteeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrr in life ;)

So, yeah.

Goodbye, Dearest Housemate...

Hai :)

After about 4 years plus living together with my dearest housemate, Izza... It's time for us to part ways. It's bittersweet when she said she's moving out. It was anticipated, and very selfish of ME actually to let her stay with me all these while especially after I was already married. You know, it feels like a couple breaking up after knowing there's no future. I was sad... The moment she asked when we should tell our landlord, tears were just a moment away to drop. It was me who in consciousness of the whole thing, still was not ready...

I was all over the town to find another house, suitable for only me, near friends; cheap, secured, everything near impossible-lah and I didn't find one. Or rather; I and Zukry decided for me to just stay at the current house alone, while make more effort to clean it up and make me more homely...

OK, this is a little personal after about 2 years of marriage, I decided to have a really good quality Queen Size bed! All these while, I had my super single bed and never really had the idea to change it because of the never-ending "I'll Move Soon" thought was up there in my mind blocking any other Moving-On moves I should have made before. I thought while Izza is exploring Europe, this is the best time to really just tidy up the place!

So, first up, buy me a really nice divan bed with a dreamland mattress, about 1 ft thick (or maybe more, because it's really thick!) - cam hotel! :P I was really proud when I bought this, a huge relieve with a thought of "I should have done this a long time ago".... I sold the old bed.

Soon to be picked up and....

Another Good Friday

I never thought I'd be this excited to watch the Royal Wedding on TV. I mean, come to think about it - I was alone, while waiting for the night to come and Zukry to arrive from Labuan... I was watching the whole thing on TLC.

The 'pengantin' was so beautiful together and apart. Isn't Kate lovely? Her takes on the royal wave was perfect. She's glowing, she's just happy :) and Prince William, with his hat on - DREAMMMMMMMMMY! Without, so-so. Which is good, takdelah terasa kehilangan sangat! Haha!

I miss the live second kiss... but has watched it on youtube almost immediately. The first one was an awe moment for me. I was waiting for it anyways... Hihi.

Anyway, the not so great part about today is that Zukry's flight is delayed. The weather has not been that good kot. Hujan tadi, tapi sebelum tu it was really hot. But, what's coming is a long weekend. Monday is a holiday! :) Yeay...

* I wonder how much is the Queen's handbag... i mean the price... It looks so biasa... is it of any label? while we are all into labels, I wonder if she cares... :)

The long weekend went by pretty quickly. Now while waiting for my flight, had just said my goodbye to Zukry, feeling quite insecure having no handphone as i left mine at home (in the kitchen, charging) I just to go online... Biasalah, free for 2 hours kan? :)

I bought Zukry, his birthday present . A pair of ASICS running shoes. Harap2 menjadi pembakar semangat utk menang (finish - lah.. bukan menang) all the runs he registered this year. Coming back this July for his first :) While I, on the other hand get to meet my dearest friend, Warniey (Shout out to her! Takcukuplah somehow... I ada cerita jugak, tapi cam yours lagi gempaklah kan... hehehe) Onto buying stuffs, I got my essentials covered. Tu ajelah... Dapat one Chinos too. Must save up for Singapore --- coming in 3 weeks je lagi.

Sekarang feel miserable semula knowing that i have to go back to Miri. Soalan utk bila dapat pindah KL again... masih lagi keluar. Biasalah kan. And I really hope soalan tu dapat menjadi amin kepada doa utk kembali... :) I love going back to KL.

So the birthday is over. A lunch, a failed movie plan (the theater tutup!) and a game to end it. (MU kalah...) That's how Zukry wanted his birthday, I have nothing else but gratitude over needing to not worry about it even a little bit :) A pair of shoe is what he's asking, for the ultimate resolution of the year. Thus, a pair of shoe is what he's getting next week insyaAllah.

Oh, Kuala Lumpur - kota seribu satu... We're coming back! :) For our birthday presents... Zukry has not been out of Borneo since February - I think this is a good break. More for him even though time is very-the-limited; of course for me as well. Hopefully, with nothing plan - I still can get to do what I wanted during my stay soon. (Khabarnya ada meeting kena attend; mgkn even travelling will be a day earlier! Tp tengok dululah cenggane)

Enrich points. The other day, I suddenly have the urge to find out how much enrich points i have gotten so far. All my travelling (business mostly) must have given me a load of points, so let's shop for a ticket for yet another trip. Maybe for 2011 ! (SILAP! ---2012!) :P Teeny travels! Well, until end of the year; i hope to have enough for a return trip to _ _ _ _ _. I'm not sure MAS travels there though. A lot of homework to be done. Anyways,to date my points is at about 2/3 secured for return trip to London (on promo). So; OK sangat dah tu. Hehehe... Tak abis2.

Rumah kat Miri. This is not a surprise, I knew it will happen soon. In fact, the fact in didn't happen sooner is a surpirse! Izza dah keluarkan hasrat utk move out... So, to live alone or not - eee, takutnya nak duduk sorang... cenggane eh?

Happy Birthday to Mak! - This is supposed to be my first April post since her birthday is on 1st of April! Well, i did all other things like SMS and wall post on Facebook on that day - so that should cover the 'wajib' things to do on your mum's birthday lah kan... :)

So, on to the next one... as my car suggested 6141 (that was supposed to be representing 1416 if it is turned backwards) - 14 - my birth date while 16 is my husband's. Yeah, we are that poyo. Don't worry, we are fully aware of that :P So, this Saturday 16th April - Zukry is turning a year wiser. Happy birthday in advance. Sy dengan ini berjanji utk tidak masak pada hari itu. Maka, booking for a lunch date is already confirm, OK? Hehehehe...

There are a few stuffs that I wish I don’t have to do for a long time. This is not a surprise to anyone... One of the stuffs is that little fact of the not-togetherness of TeenyrkuZ.

Zukry has been bugging me since yesterday about the 48-hours sales on Maswings and I am totally on board. I mean, who wants to be spending more if we can get it for less, right?

So we are all set until June 2011! That’s 2 months plus down the road. At the moment, we are pushing the hope of getting together anytime soon. I have already sent a note of an opportunity in KL but well, you’ve read that kind of stories a million times already and I’m still in Miri ni, right? Yeah...

Anyways, that means these few months I will be in either Labuan or Miri. I will however go back to Kuala Lumpur for one weekend – the Good Friday weekend. Thank you to Malaysia Airlines that offers return tickets at a lower price than Airasia!

On average, we spent about RM200 per weekends. Being ignorant Teeny, I had to pay about RM 200++ for my trip to Labuan. Konon2nya, nak tunggu any other offers... but guess what, the before price was increased and I just got to pay the additional as it is my weekend to Labuan anyways...

I’ve always take note of the message at our office’s surau “Don’t Compare Yourself with Others” and believe me, I’m trying my very best not too.

I don't know why, but my back is aching. I was however, heavily involved in our annual sports as ... wait for it, CHEERLEADER! :) This is not a surprise sight, I have always been anyways. Hehehe! I hope I cheered well enough. That is all I can contribute this year as tennis is no longer in the game list.

Back to the aching back, I guess this is all due to the "silap tidur" kot. This two weeks, I have been watching "How I Met Your Mother" before I sleep. How healthy is that? I know...

You know, today marked half of March and I can tell that the month has not been good for me. My almost 8 years Kelisa was caught in an accident with a motorbike last Saturday. We were on our way to the event of the weekend, Family Day with live performance of Hafiz of AF8 (which was awesome!)... The car is ready to be claimed at the workshop but I need my Zukry with me. It was a little bit of a drama but yeah... I guess that's life.

I promised more pictures, you'll get it --- soon.

Oh, BTW if you see me with a lot of the usual scarves; yeah I just thought I a little over the selendang craze at the moment. This may be I am too malas to the art of lilit melilit, or too rajin to iron all my tudung bawal :)

Kota Kinabalu 2011 Nexus, Karambunai

Hi there. Thanks so much for dropping by. I see that many were actually visiting due to the Maysaa Scarves review I made. Seriously, I didn't even expect when you typed Maysaa in Google; my blog came into the list too. So, yeah - if this isn't what you're looking for, sorry to have disappoint you. It was supposed to be personal blog, but I keep my audience open to all :)

Anyways, Zukry and I are at KKIA Old Town White Coffee while waiting for our flight tonight at 2040 hours. The flight is from KK to Lbu sending Zukry off and then, to Miri - yeah, back to the real separate lives :( (Jgn mengeluh!)

I have posted about Zukry being unwell during our stay in Nexus Resort, Karambunai in Facebook, where quite a few responded with so many tips which I can't really follow due to resources. It's secluded, away from the city which what we wanted to enjoy anyway. So, I was pretty much the nurse during our first night stay until the dinner - it was not the Valentine dinner as the menu offered was different from the occasion ones but we were somehow seen as the couples who enjoys the lovey-dovey day too last night. Here's what we were served at Olives Restaurant.

To start, a love-shaped buns served with olive oil with balsamic vinegar, pesto & rock-salt. Cantik sangat bentuknya, sayang nak makan :) Tapi memang lazat, especially the black olive bun!

In that spoon is entahlah... lupa nama dia. Cam salad ayam, tapi sedaplah :)

The appetizer has arrived. Also in a love shape, tuna salad and smoke salmon on the bottom. Beautifully presented, ape ntah yang around the pinggan tu - balsamic vinegar and olive oil jugak... tapi ada tambahan a dollop of something yang I taktau

The tomato soup with thinly sliced garlic bread (not in love shape) Makan taksampai suku bowl, takleh nak abis....

Hibiscus sorbet. Just what is needed before the main course

Zukry's. This is medium raw beef something. I think it's not a steak, but yeah... it was beef lah

While mine is cod fish. Nothing to brag about, I guess we were pretty much full from all the entrees...

The name of the dessert is in French. I didn't even bother to remember as the pudding was so good. And yes, love-shaped. The other one is pastry-like crackers filled with cream and strawberries. To complete the ensemble, vanilla and mango sauce.

We were pretty much on our way back, when this arrived. Coffee with home made pralines which include strawberries dip in chocolate (a must on Hari Kekasih) and kueh raya chocolate covered cornflakes. I especially loved the white chocolate ones!

After the dinner, before heading out - each of us get a rose and chocolates. By this time, Zukry is almost at his healthy being already... Almost! We then went for our 90 minutes complimentary massage at Borneo Spa. The place was absolutely different from the other spas I've been to. Macam dalam movie! Ada kolam kat dalam spa. And inside the locker room, ada jacuzzi siap dengan lazy chair yang memang sangat memanggil2!!!

The other thing we did was to ride the tendem bicycle. At first we thought it was free, rupanye kena bayo. Terus takjadi naik. That was on Sunday, tapi semalam cam takleh tahan - kena try jugak! Menariks!!! We went to check out the whole resort naik beskal je :) Oklah tu je kot. Nanti2lah i sambung...

Funny thing is, when we bought the ticket - we didn't even realize that we are going there during Valentine :) We just wanted the cheap ticket, Maswings loyal customers lah kata kan... hehehe.

Kota Kinabalu 2011 Adventure

Sorry for not updating in quite a while. I was rather busy reading other people’s blog while keeping myself busy travelling as well. But that’s quite normal, right? If I don’t have anything interesting to tell or actually doing something even more interesting real-life, why bother the virtual ones. Hehehe...

Anyway, I’m now writing at room 7217 Nexus Resort & Spa Karambunai in Kota Kinabalu. We are supposed to be exploring the resort (well, that’s what I have in mind the moment I arrived at 1240 today) but Zukry is feeling under the weather after a whole driving up and down the hill of Sabah just to reach Kundasang, Ranau. Actually, he has a temperature you know... He’s now sleeping with a wet towel on his forehead which I later decorate with some rose petals hoping that he would soon be OK. By soon, I mean in maybe 30 mins or so. If not, well – I better be enjoying the rest of what this resort have alone; which will then be very non-honeymoon of us. Oh, yes we are on the Forever Bliss package. So everyone is treating us like newlyweds since we first arrived. Nice!

We got our fruit basket delivered; with complimentary of a cake which said “Happy Honeymoon!” complete with a matching card signed by a few Nexus Resort and Spa staffs. A housekeeper came by just to put on some roses around the room and greeted us with Happy Honeymoon just after we had our tapau Chicken Rice Shop’s Nasi Ayam. Great start so far! The room is a bit old fashion; even the TV is the not flat screen ones. But then again, we are here to enjoy each other and Karambunai itself. The beach is not that far away from our room, and the sea is just so blue...

What's the name of this flower? I know some chosen the bouquet for weddings, but here in Mesilau - they grow like bunga kertas je! :)

Cows ready to be milked. It was an interesting experience, but bau agak kurang menyenangkan. Overall place is satisfactory but the view... check out pictures below! Breathtaking. We spend some time here, just to enjoy the scenery and while waiting for 3 PM (Milking time), solat at a nice small surau provided.

Kabus over mountains. It was cool, takyah gi oversea lah! The road to Desa Dairy Farm is rather difficult. A 4WD should be the best transportation, but our rented (a friend's) Gen-2 survived

Cantik, kan? I think somewhere in there, SKO Iron Men team is climbing up to Kinabalu peak :)

When Brunei seems cooler with people like us

Please excuse for the last post has been 6 days old, and there was no new post. This post pun rasanya macam pendek (",) Zukry balik kampung, while I beronggeng with my friends to Brunei makan sushi. Yeay! I think I can still feel the salmon. I had too much salmon! huhuhu... Nantilah I sambung. Onto an unfinish project!

Look Who's Shopping too!

Since the successful online shopping at Kitbag, Zukry got hooked and started browsing for new on sale items that cause him this 3rd times buying from the website!

The first one, was when he bought the new Manchester United Jersey with his virtual name on, and a T shirt. You can check that one out, here. The second one, out of ngada2, I got my a Chelsea cool black and orange jersey with my name on via the same website too. Delivery was efficiently as per advised, the price is somewhat cheaper... (yelah, with your name on, ikut standard EPL lagi... berbaloi!)

So, this time; was the time he bought without my knowledge - even though the shopping and payment happened at my house - boleh tak? I felt guilty when I purchased my ASOS stuffs - siap hantar cam invoice kat dia explaining... Takut punye pasal... huhu) These are among the three items he bought.

For GBP12, this Russian World Cup T-shirt was his. The details were amazing, belakang siap ada tulis Russia in Russian (kot) We know that it's outdated, but this is an Adidas T-shirt... Quality no difference from the current ones anyway... so it's a bargain still.

Amcam, mengancam tak? ;)

And these are the Ivory Coast T-shirt by Puma for GBP 8 only! With details like the logo embroided onto the sleeves lagi - see the second pic, I'd say a definite bargain too! He got his stuffs at the same time I got mine. So this weekend, we are wearing UK stuffs in Miri. Hehehehe...

Hi there, it's been a while yeah? My last post was blergh... I had a lot of stories to tell about my birthday celebration, but without photos - well, I'm not good at writing, so without them - cam takcukup cerita :)

Anyway, this subject however i can copy the pictures from a website. The shopping site that I have been eye-ing since I saw an advert from a shop blog that they are making purchase from the web and asking for their readers to join. Which make sense since you don't have to pay for the considerably expensive delivery fee. But I was contemplating a little too much, and until the year turn 2011; baru ada courage to buy. Kononnya birthday present :) (Berapa banyak birthday present?!)

So, I purchased three items from ASOS on 3rd Jan 2011. That Monday when I had my haircut. They are as below: (haha, macam meeting plak ayat) These photos were all taken from the website. Click kat ASOS tu. Carik, insyaAllah jumpa :)

This military cardigan is my favourite piece. Cantik kan? Izza also liked it. Dia kasik tabik sekali. Haha! I have always love a nice & coloured cardigan (which you can see from the recent wardrobe clearance tu kan...) Fit perfectly. A little too many buttons but I LOVE THEM to bits. Taksabar nak peragakan ni!

This second number is a little weird looking when i tried them on tadi. The name of the shirt is Tab Shoulder Layered Shirt. So, it has this piece hanging giving another layer of fabric for --- fashion?! hahah. I don't know... It's meant to be worn loosely, pair with a jeans or trouser biasa lah kan. Em, size OK sangat. but the length of the sleeve is a little panjang sket. Kena adjust cuff so that it won't be hanging aje.

Last but certainly not least, this twist top that is a bit sexy. It's from jersey fabric, so it's meant to be hold onto your body. But the twisted part somehow managed to hide the excessive bit that you don't want to see, so that's good ;) The colour somehow is my problem... Ada sedikit sheer, especially at the sleeve...

So all in all, I think shopping at ASOS is safe. I was told that the parcel will reach me by or on 17th January, but due to the weather (according to their customer care) it was delayed. It reached my house on 19th, and I picked it up today at Pusat Mel Miri.

They were wrapped individually in plastic bag, then put into an ASOS black plastic bag. It arrived it Sepang on my birhtday, 14 Jan and stamped "dilepaskan" by the customs for posting to Miri. Yeay! To my readers, if you plan to do shopping online.. try lah. They are having delivery free WORLDWIDE now! (Sekarang jugak i pergi browse!)

Ana Rafali is not in my top 3 Malaysian Favourite artist. But the reaction of her winning AJL25 is really annoying. I mean, come on Malaysian - we are better than this. I just read a review in Utusan, click here.

I was actually only looking forward to Yuna's performance that night... but when everyone was really all out on their performance, i was hooked. All out, can actually means over-the-top! Like Ana, she was trying too hard... (in my opinion) But on the lyric / music composition - i thought she could be a competition.

Heck, I was actually hoping for Stacy to win. Nak tengok, whether pop-dance song like that can win the juries or not. Haha! Well, all I'm saying is - ape salahnya Ana Rafali menang. The juries are all top notch people in the music industry. Siapa kita, nak angkat kaki / boo the winner? Please la... Malu tau!

My Review of My 2010

So today is the 11th day of the year of 2011. What have I achieved, as it is now only 345 days left? I was waiting for a big change; but somehow change has to come from within for me to feel the significance. As of 11th of 2011, I'm still the girl that I was in 2010 - whom I have a hate/love relationship with... Let's conclude the best of 2010! And I want to think that I have somehow throw away the bad ones minutes past 0001 HRS on 01.01.11 :)

The biggest achievement is of course, the UK/France trip! We covered London, Manchester and Paris with a wee bit of Bahrain. This was where I found out that my husband, like me - is also a shopaholic. I lost him in Marks and Spencer - he got a few items while I was trying to buy my brother's shirts. I don’t even have to describe Manchester because Manchester was awesome. We actually explored the city together - alone. With no maps, no travel books, just the love my husband has to the red devils! :) Love does lead the way, I guess. Huhu... MU Megastore brought a lot out of my husband – shopping manic. He wanted everything!

Besides that, I too had my dream of entering the world of Disney turned into a reality. It was a wonderful experience, and again this was also done alone - together. Except of course, a friend had to buy our train tickets but other than that, we did everything ourselves including purchasing the ticket in French online! And the ultimate shopping had to be the tote I've been eyeing at the biggest Louis Vuitton boutique in the world :) Bliss... The bag is under used because of the existence of others including the French made Longchamp

I guess to conclude, Manchester was my husband’s place while Paris was mine. And London – was a magic of itself; it became our favourite to-go-again trip, maybe soon. Bahrain was just a detour where we get to enjoy a tiny bit of the Middle Eastern life. All in all, I love the whole aspects of this holiday. I love the planning, the execution and the post-effect that still gives me that dying-to-go-again sensation. (This somehow leads to a few rounds of online shopping from UK sites!) – I bought something from ASOS which I don’t think would arrive prior to my birthday.

Up to the other highlights of the year 2010, let me just put them in bullet points, yeah?

If we could have saved all the money we put on Malaysia Airlines and Airasia – we could afford to travel to Spain & Italy 2011! (agaknye lah...) But it was all worth spending. I get to see my husband every weekend in Miri or Labuan..., attend important family gatherings, attend friends’ (Zalina's and Tahirah's) weddings, meeting other friends, etc.

Both my parents are retirees now. I don’t know if that makes any difference to me & my life, but somehow I’m glad they are off work while their kids are trying to live the working lives now.
I actually enrolled to sewing class from February up to August before Ramadhan starts... I have tailored baju kurung, baju kurung pesak gantung, kebarung, long blouse, skirt, and kain for baju kurung. Izza actually invested in a new sewing machine out of this! I learned that they are so many websites that provide free patterns. I can’t wait to try them all!
I have finally applied officially to be transferred to Labuan. An opportunity arose and I just can’t sleep not to do anything about it! At the moment, the recruitment process are still in progress – it’s the takeover project
Mawarni and Sajidah paid me a visit in October. It was super fun! Brunei, Gua Niah and Miri with my besties. Worth taking 2 days annual leave definitely!!!

Not only them, my family (exclusive of Abg - again) and Paklong, Maklong and Sree came too. They were here in Nov. And I was again delighted to play a host! Thanks to Visu and Uthes who lent me their cars... It was my third visit to Gua Niah when they came - but it was memorable. Can you imagine, in my 4 years in Miri, I have been to the Niah cave for 6 times already?! I could have been certified as a Forest Ranger for this :)

On a total different and negative highlight of 2010 is that I too have gained more pounds than ever! That's quite obvious in those pictures. Haish... 2011, will be the year to shed them off; for more room for the baby coming on soon... Soon, insyaAllah
And finally; to end the beautiful year, I bought my own car. The booking / down payment is all mine and paid for prior to the year 2011. However, it is still on its way to Labuan, a place where I would want to stay with my husband soon...

I may have missed a few important events / highlights of the year, but never mind. Ape2 hal boleh update. Bukannya kluar kan news pun dak? Sekadar mengingatkan diri sendiri ape yang dah berlaku and how i should be grateful for the life I’m in now. Banyak2 masalah saya, masalah orang kat luar tu – taktaulah betapa hebatnya lagi agaknya... kan?

I may want to put up what to look forward to this 2011. In the mean time, let’s just have a beautiful weekend in KL, celebrating my birthday soon. Can’t wait for it!

Hey ho. We are watching AJL25. Zukry said if Faizal Tahir won tonight; we are going to have another in lieu tomorrow! Huh, he wish. How's the weekend?

Ours, involved Pustaka Miri. Can you imagine?! That was due to Zukry's attempt to study for his ACD. But, I'm just glad that he's doing something about it and can't wait for it to just be done with.

Why?

I want to go back to SEMENANJUNG MALAYSIA - a place where my family is... Some may need money, a Mercedes Benz, a mansion... etc. I just need Zukry & my family :) Chewah! (I may need those later on kot! kwang3) and to top it all of, I'm hitting another age in a few days! I love birthday. I especially love birthday parties especially when it involved mine.

We have a last minute plan to go back to Bagan Serai on Friday later on, but that makes it more awesome right? A short weekend but we could cover both families! Don't ask me if it's tiring, when it's all worth the journey - right?

Anyway, I have been trying to think about the perfect gift for myself from Zukry but he did blurted out an ipad, even up to a sewing machine! :) But the thing is, as we up to our ass when it comes to our financial status at the moment - agak2 dapat tak? Huhu... But this year, the gift that I have given myself would be ... the most expensive yet! :) Can't wait for it.

So, as the year 2010 has ended just recently; and every time that happens I usually have no time to reflect what had happened because I will be so excited about the birthday and all. Hehehe... Many that I'm thankful for, and many that I'm still longing / wish for too.

First Monday of the Year!

And I am still on holiday! I like how the company decided to grant us another in lieu to celebrate Malaysia's Football team victory - the AFF Suzuki Cup! Although, Zukry still got to get back to Labuan as the ticket in not changeable, he got to buy a new one instead if he would stay a day longer... Never mind that! We both have a lot of things to do today!

No, it does not include another post in my blog :P

One of them, is getting a hair cut. I was thinking very short hair, for this thinning locks. Like Emma Watson new do! :) When my in-laws where in Labuan, I mentioned about the hair being the only sampah-sarap you'd find daily even after just seconds of sweeping! It's so true. We've tried so many things, including Ba Wang shampoo. Bau herba = uwek! So, I asked Zukry if this look I'm choosing is alright with him... He said 'alright', but I warned him that I won't change to Hermione altogether and he teased 'takmo-lah!'... Kureng asem.

But then again, an 'Alright' is received; we'll see what the hairstylist had to say to the idea.

On another thing to do today is actually sending of my sweet pumpkin, Iman Iffah to pre-school! She was registered to PASTI at Pujut 9, and was truly excited about it. She told us how she would wear baju green, tudung puteh, the Disney princesses bag, her school books (yang berlambak) and her new seluar for I guess, Pendidikan Jasmani? (ada ke?!)

But on my way back from the airport, the road was super busy - it was jam packed all the way from Saberkas to Pujut 7 area. I thought I was late but KakLaila told me that the parents had to leave. Duh..! I guess, this is just pre-school... takperlu over2 sangat kot. But it was a big deal to me... When i arrived in Miri, Iman was just 6 months. At the time, I was a little scared to carry her. Now, she's going to school! That means, TIBA MASA UNTUK KELUAR DARI MIRI!!! :P haha, takde kena mengena... But yeah, how time flies!

Anyway, I better get going. Need to find a saloon.

Got my Emma Watson haircut. The hairstylist suggested a longer version for a 'lebih besar' head (good choice of words, or it could've ruin the mood! :P) So, I'm lighter by a few grams I think. About 10-15 inches of hair were remove all over! Zukry, jgn terkezut plak. It feels and looks GOOD. Long locks? That's so last year! hahaha!

This is going to be short. Just enough to tell you readers, that I am here and that the update I promised on Friday had to be delayed due to internet connection in Labuan.

I will upload all once I got a stable connection, most probably when I'm back in Miri. In the mean time, I would capture the best pictures for the treasures I've decided to let go.

It has been a lazy weekend. SERIOUSLY. Productive, playing PS3 wise. Heavy rain was completed, but we only understand the conclusion after getting them online. This definitely requires a do-over! Ethan, we'll help you finding Shaun alive next time! But we have evolved to a better dance partner, dancing to the tunes like "Hanging Tough by NKOTB", "Don't Cha by Pussycat Dolls", "Can't Touch This by MC Hammer" etc. Memang bestlah! It was just us being goofy and funny as hell when we watched the playback.

Personal Review on Maysaa Scarves

Here a little review on the recent purchase of Chiffon Scarf Snood and Satin Wrap Band Snood at Maysaa.

First up is the purchase process. When I received notification that the delivery cost is reduced, I don't waste much time but to just get to the page and bought these two almost immediately. You see, it was at GBP15 but reduced to GBP 2.95! Some bloggers I bumped into bought in bulk to avoid the delivery fees all together, but I waited for this discount apparently. So that's one plus!

Then, I received a notification saying that it's already on its way after about 2 days only! I was in KL at that time, so there's nothing much I can do - but it was fast. Posted via City Link to my humble Senadin's house. When I receive the note, I knew I just had to pick them up immediately...

The package was as below. Neatly wrap in a thin white paper with Maysaa's sticker to secure the package - this is inside a box decorated with wrap-around black ribbon! I was over the moon when I saw it, couldn't wait but to take picture inside the car. (Then, an SUV honking wanted to take my parking space, so the moment was ruined! pfft!)

The box has somewhat crumple into that. But see how it was nicely put together...

So, the try out. I wore both of them on Thursday and Friday (I just couldn't wait any more...) The Satin Wrap was meant for inner scarf, which I wore with another scarf. The effect was like wearing normal scarf without any inner scarf with awning, but somewhat elegant because of the effect of the slick satin (This is all my personal view yeah, people may disagree :P)

How to wear? I actually had to find where I should head on. Definitely a unique piece, exclusive thus, the price is definitely worth the design. Both came with a zip behind, which was clever because it secure the position of the scarf and give a full cover of the neck - even in windy day, i bet the scarf will remain at its supposed position.

But the zip has its downside, when my hair tends to get stuck in between, ouch! I wonder if the others wear 'serkup' inside to avoid this. I even send out that question to Yuna about this. (Yes, i was that excited!) I guess a neat ponytail should do it. What's with a serkup with another inner? Double security? NOT! But that is what I usually do when I wear my awning inner... hmmm.

That's the zip that I described. In the picture I wore the usual serkup to cover the hair only... The scarf is complete with Maysaa tag with direction for care. BTW, it's made in China.

Here's a picture of yours truly wearing the Satin Wrap with a cotton shawl in a very loose way with two pins on the head. As usual, I thought this is cool. Haha :)

Nevermind that, the chiffon scarf as shown in Maysaa, comes in 2 style. One when you can actually let the chiffon part cover your chest or let it loose to the side, which i think is awesome too! I'm not sure if I would be doing this style, but I bet I will. If not now, soon...

Awesome kan? I think this can pull a formal and casual look too right? Not sure if I'm that daring to be wearing this style to the office. Below is the normal style - which resembles Siti's style - but hers is without the inner~

So that's that. I am a really happy customer. Maysaa has also a return policy even up to if "the style doesn't suit"! Not because of size, quality, but the style too... Huhu.

P/S: Tahirah, if you're reading this - seriously a big shout to Hana & Yuna at their event tomorrow all the way from Miri!

2nd Week - December

Actually, it started with a movie with Visu and Uthes. We were among the 6 people watching "The Social Network" in Hall 3 on Friday night! Hehehe... The moment the movie finished, we were thinking "Why are we not a computer programmer?!". Of course, this was all driven from the story of the youngest billionaire in the world, Mark Zuckerberg - Facebook co-founder.

Then, off to the airport (after a dinner stop at Nasi Lemak Rasa Segar with Uthes; it's been ages since my last makan2 there) waiting for Zukry. The flight was delayed. So, I was there with my rubik cube, which I can finished in less than 5 mins now! - waiting... While i was trying to re-do the cube, I saw our ex-Southern SM. He asked "So, bila nak pindah ni?". When i said, no letter, no decision yet; he said "Don't worry, soon lah tu. Dah confirm dah... Tunggu!"

YEAY! I hope to receive the letter there and then! :) But i guess, that's enough to make up the whole weekend kot. 15mins later, Zukry was in front of me.

Anyways, after the exercise gala - nothing much happened except for the successful attempts to imitate Hot & Roll Onion & Cheese Phrata. Sedap! Wanted to buy bagels for Bagel with cream cheese but opt for a cheaper carbo, french bread aje... :) Sedap jugak. Tapi I'm sure with Bagel lebih nyaman~

1st Week - December

I have one Annual Leave left! Today I'm on annual leave to welcome my in-law family here in Labuan. I am currently at the only McDonald's (boleh cakap camni, cause in Miri we have 2 now!) in Labuan writing, while waiting for them to arrive. Sakit perut yang amat ni, tapi tahan jelah (takde orang nak jaga beg and laptop ni kang!)

Anyways, I'm also trying to recover from last week hectics. I was in Miri, Bintulu, KL, and Labuan in less than a week time! It involved a lot of flights, taxis and headaches. Travel for work is alright; at least I'm out of the office. Tiring tu, memang cannot deny-lah. Today baru rasa sedikit alright.

You know what is my biggest achievement this week? Not doing shopping either online nor at Dorothy Perkins (although I had 2 visits there last week)! And I have an eye on this blouse. The satin silk is so luxurious in chocolate, I loved it - but yeah... I just left it there. I might be getting it, but not any time soon.

(Gambar low quality sbb crop sendiri... but you have to go and see the texture and colour - richness. I like!)

(Btw, i actually left for the toilet and back to original place in McD ni. Dgn takmalunya :P)

So my first Dec weekend is nearing to its end. (This one is long, last until Tuesday~) But I have a hosting job to do for the remaining 1 day or so ni... I think we can finish the whole Labuan by the time frame given inclusive of fabric and chocolate shopping jgk. (In the spirit of leaving Miri for this small island, we love island live! Yes, we do)

The last one would be the skirt - I have wore them twice, once in KL and another time today while Sushi-ing in Brunei for lunch (or brunch - I think! we shared a bowl of cereal in the morning) As promised, here's how it looks like. And as described in my previous post - effect varies according to size. But I thought and feel good about the whole attire. Haha! One can always puji diri sendiri~

I actually ordered in beige. Tapi this is more cream, than beige. And the waist is quite big too (Given than i actually provided the measurement, I must have measure at the wrong place) And I too am waiting for a black one coming. It should have come together with this, but something happened an they had to delay...

Surviving The 2nd Weekend

Hi Again.
Teeny @home in Ampang :) Can't sleep - or rather, decided not to - yet! Hehe. I have this anxiety of having to savor the at-home-moments lah kononnya.

So, to update a little - I'm actually not going to just stay for the weekend but the whole week until Friday for a course on a performance management system - basically something that has got to do with a system to report our production-lah. Bukan manually lagi. Anyways, that I have got to master to be cascaded to my colleagues later!

Apparently, (I hope this is true) my SM told me that the potential of me going to Labuan is huge. Both her and the other SM have agreed to let me go, so i hope to leave Miri for the good but boring Labuan - to keep our little family together & to pursue for a more fascinating work venture with our partner at their terminal there... (I get to drive my car! :P --- oooo, best....)

Anyways, the weekend - hope for no more shopping. Walaupun still itchy to buy stuffs - giler Teeny! Tomorrow is Zalina's Persandingan. She got hitched today at Masjid Wilayah. So, tomorrow; Mawarni, Sajidah, Tahirah & I are meeting together at Dewan Merak Kayangan Felda for the reception. Yahoo! :)

Well, Zukry is in KK again. For a team building plak kali ni. Nampaknya, last weekend takcukup bonding activity agaknye. Huhu. Tapi paling best, next weekend - we'll have our "reunited, and it feels so good" weekend!

As mentioned, I recently bought a skirt from AmmaraHijabi - well actually, 2 skirts same pattern. Not yet siap, but booked at 50% total price. With my hips and waist size (current - of course) emailed to them, they said it should be ready by this week - so next week, if sampai jgn jakun tgk Teeny pakai skirt everyday! :) It supposed to look like this. Effect may vary, due to size! Hehehe... excuse me.

Long skirt are so in-style now, (I want to think they are!) - of course, maxi dress are too - tapi tu lah, nak beli yg murah, too nampak the not-qualityness. Tapi mahal sgt - cam rugi jgk, cam nak gi dinner aje... Anyways, let's drool on skirts this weekend. Shopping lagi ke? i'm becoming hoarders! Waaaaaa!!!

Where have I been?
I've getting remarks asking to update more frequently. I don't think I have many readers, but I do have some! Hahaha :) After all, this blog was supposed to be my second journal - btw, I don't have the first journal - but I should, but whatever...

So, I'm currently in my maxi dress bought at Primark, covered with a Tshirt also bought at Primark - a T-shirtlike shawl on my head waiting for my housemate Izza to come and pick me up for dinner! I balik lambat jgk tadi, tapi Izza usually lebih lambat. I kurang rajin. I rajin, tapi kurang sket dari Izza. Hahaha! Hasfa, jgn gtau dia :P

I have not been away too long. I was in Labuan for a couple of weekends. I was in KL last weekend, but most of the days I was in Miri. But yeah, never felt like it. Except of course when I was at the office... Tu pun sbb orang ckp srwk - which was still very rarely to these ears. Anyways, basically I've been around. Doing a lot of things - just keeping myself busy.

Kepada Sajidah & Mawarni, the kain kuning we bought at the souvenir place aritu - sy cadang nak buat jadi camni...

Makan a little too much compare to any days since last week. Tido tak cukup, travel dalam van yang melompat all the way, so yeah~

Never Get Tired of Planning Our Weekends Together

Another Monday is coming! Hehe, that means a lot of work pending needs my urgent focus and please - help me to meet those ridiculous datelines! Seriously, the centre needs to understand how operations work and stop demanding too much :P (pepandai aje...!)

So, fast forward to this coming weekend. Zukry's coming and the plan is to bring him over to Brunei for his experience at the famous (at least among SKO peeps) Excapade Sushi at Kuala Belait on Saturday. So for the rest of the other times, we'll decide later. Among ideas were to check out the i-phone 4 at Maxis Centre Boulevard. Looking at the payment to be made to the new car I think I just invested (Well, it was not an investment; but it will cost me much-much more than a LV tote!); I'm not sure about iPhone4. With the PS3 Move lagi, etc. :P Cita2 mesti tinggi...!

Anyways, after this weekend; I'll have 2 weekends without my husband. First, when he'll be at Pulau Tiga for a recreational thing with PML peeps - I think I'm going to go back to KL. And during Deepavali weekend, I'll be attending Zalina's wedding without him (as biasalah, tiket LBU - KL mahal... haish~)

Camne? Life after marriage, is about planning for the weekends. Cepatlah dapat pindah duduk bersama. I think, I don't mind Labuan with visits to KK once a month :P MakTam, MakNgah - tolong doakan ye...

Mawarni, Sajidah and Me

I'm writing while waiting for my two best friends to arrive at Miri Airport. This is my first time having friends coming over from KL - just visiting. So, I have got to be the greatest hostess there is! :)

We were all still working today. I guess immediately after work, they left for LCCT but unfortunately the flight was delayed thus ETA is now at 2200 HRS. I was still at the office until about 7PM... I have some handover to do and my PPA review with my then housemate, now Supervisor. Hehehe... (which BTW, ada a gazillion corrections / enhancements to make)

I left for Boulevard for the foldable matresses (in the effort to become the greatest hostess kan) and a shoe rack for the expandable collection of shoes - I just realized that I have 4 pairs of Lewre shoes! I mean, sejak bila Lewre jadi kegemaranku? 2 pairs of Clarks, that new Aldo, flats of many kind, etc. One shoe rack can't fit all of them, I'm sure... Never mind them, back to my two besties coming over!

So, the plan:

Malam ni, tido kat rumah saya lah - terus balik from airport
Esok, Niah Cave Excursion - This will be my exercise for the Raya makan2. Haha!
Lusa, ke Brunei. Nak cari ke famous Sushi tu. Kalo takjumpa kat Gadong; we'll stop at Kuala Belait on the way back lah
Tulat, jalan2 around Miri. Shopping2. Nak tunjuk kat mana ofisku, terminal, mana SHELL, KRP, lalalala...

Malam ni, mesti kena charge camera. Masukkan bateri dalam torchlight. And backpack mesti mau get ready... chewah. Kena pinjam kete Izza sebab kelisa tu, orang pusat servis advise not to drive jauh2... Tunggu after next servis.

O, next trip to LBU - cita2 nak beli Honda Civic. You think it's time?

Britney for Glee!

Oh, please excuse this short very personal entry. But I have just watched Glee S02E02 - the Britney episode! and that "The Only Exception" song really went through me.

I was trying to call Zukry after a little 'bad ngengada' time we had just before I started watching Glee. It was too small to even mention - but i guess I just got to say it was super weird as it was about what I enjoy most "shopping".

He had just bought himself an MU jersey with his nickname and his number to match - get this "ONLINE"! He has somehow get a little bit of my craziness of online shopping and treat himself to a jersey - AND a T-shirt too! So, i was jealous! To act on this, I thought of buying myself one too. I have put what i chose in the basket; but as an act of protest/ngengada I choose not to buy. And since then, he's not picking up my calls. boooo~

Tak kesah pn, esok kena mengadap muka ni jugak kan? Sorry bang, you are MY ONLY EXCEPTION. hehehehe... kepada yang bukan Zukry, puke somewhere else! Uweekkk~ Jangan mare lelame. Esok kejut kul5.45 ye. Mekaseh :)

Mini Date at IKEA

Salam everyone. How's the week treating you? I'm just glad that we are already in the middle of the week. So I guess, after tomorrow & work on Friday - I can be excused to visit dearest husband in Labuan after about 2 weeks! Rindu wooo. Rindu-serindunya... Since June, last weekend was the first weekend we missed spending time with each other. Luckily I was at KL. So, I was pretty occupied.

Anyway, my next trip to Labuan this time will consist of a huge orange Delcy luggage! The luggage brought especially for Zukry's IKEA stuffs we shopped during our date together on a beautiful Friday, 17th Sept :) IKEA shopping trip wouldn't be complete with a round of that sinful Daim cake and yummylicious meatballs that match perfectly with that cranberry sauce. Sedapnya! :) So among items that were still unpacked:

A set of 2 frying pans
A set of 2 pots
A set of knives (4 kinds - just like what i had in my kitchen)
A cute yellow stool (I have in green and blue)
A black plastic chopping board
A set of kitchen utensils (4 kinds)

These of of course weren't all. I had my share of shopping too! It's just that my stuffs were already unpack here in Miri. Hehehe... They include:

RM29.90 Quilt cover and pillow case set - Cheap, kan?! :)
A pair of sewing sciccors
2 kain perca IKEA (hot pink and white polka dot over bright blue)
A salad bowl 0 for my cooking batter - if I ever decided to bake ~ bila agaknya...
A mini stirer powered by 2 batteries - That reminds me, I belum beli batteries lagi!

I don't know if I've missed anything. But even if I haven't, yes - the luggage was extremely heavy from KL to Miri. It will be lighter when it's going to Labuan soon. but with Zukry's sport shoe lagi, my baju lagi - haih, sama aje... ;)

I survived my 12 hours in Miri. Oh, when would I stop making it such a big deal coming back to Miri from awesome days in Kuala-lala Lumpur :) Even without dearest Zukry?! Huhu.

So, I hope to be writing more often (by writing of course I meant blogging/typing) However, due to the not yet submitted performance appraisal; I may have to cut a bit of time doing so. Iye ke? No lah, probably I have many other stories to tell kot. And I hope not to bring any work home. I have not been doing that since I'm no longer with the cursed duty phone :P Hehehe...

First and foremost, my Aldo Oxford Shoe. Today, I wore the shoe from home in Ampang to home in Miri. I bought it in a bigger size however, this just can't top the comfort of a Clarks shoe. They bite my feet like crazy. Melecet at especially my left foot. Tapi alhamdulillah, belakang aje. That means, kelebaran kaki didn't effect much. But still, i love the shoe to the bits. Color dia agak awesome. Vintage-like. I just wish they are kinder, to my feet that is. To those yang tak tengok the shoe in my facebook, sila lah tatap beliau di sini

Yang penting, bangun pagi, sejuk cam aircond tapi takde aircond :) best!

True, i had fun. Especially when it comes to dressing up the kids for Raya. All sibuk nak bergambar tapi malu2. The khutbah raya was a bit lengthy (boleh dengar sampai ke rumah...), so we had to wait for the gentlemen quite a while... sementara itu, bergambar lah dengan si Kecils...

Awish and Nisa

Awish potrays the true meaning of naughty. I guess, Mizan was like him when he was smaller. He was everywhere, every time! He didn't even care if people piat telinga, pukul bontot, cubit ke! He would say "Tak sakit poooowwwwnnn!" - serious GERAM.

However, there are incident when he was just freaking afraid of especially his father. They were 2 cases which he cried while we were praying in the room (so, i didn't get to see what happened) and another, when my SIL brought him outside of the gate and threaten to leave him there for the night. Satu Kampung Keramat boleh dengar kot.

Despite all this, I'd like to think he's still my favourite. I hope none of them read this BTW. Haha! He's a dear to Zukry. Zukry said, he grew up with him in Nilai before PETRONAS happened. So, yeah... And being naughty and tak-makan-saman, he's a camera whore. Wants his picture taken especially when he knew everyone is actually dressed up for Raya that Raya AM :) How I miss 1 Syawal already...

I was wondering what does 'beraya' means... Zukry was saying "beraya dulu... br gi kubur. etc" rupanya, beraya tu - mohon maaf and amek gambar dulu. Mohon maaf is the beraya. Picture above; Zukry sedang beraya... :)

Zukry with Awish

Zukry and I thought the sulam on his baju was a bit too much. The colour save the Baju Melayu from looking too wedding-y. Kan? My choice of sampin was right, the colour especially. This was right from my dad's sampin collection - guess we don't have to worry about sampin anymore - unlike for Nikah last year...! Bapak's collection is almost like a kedai sampin already! :)

In this picture, guess Zukry's Ahmad Rasdy gene really was strong. Especially the bushy eye brow :P

Shopping For Self vs. Shopping For Others

Salam Everyone. It's 1134 PM, I'm sleepy but MU match is only starting at 1200 AM. Not that I have to watch, but at least menghabiskan masa while waiting (sebenarnya, alasan je. Zukry asked me to sleep already - tapi cam rugi kan, husband ada; mesti mau spend time together. Even if we are not doing the same thing pn. Heh!)

Anyway, to start this entry; let me list down all the items bought online past week and YES, i have received all by today! How amazing can internet be?! Besides fulfilling my ultimate lust over things; these are actually amazing stuffs. First up:

(1) Yuna album - Decorate from Laguna Music. The album itself cost RM29.90 which is standard price, however I have to pay extra RM10 for the shipping - quite expensive considering it's not that heavy and they are using the usual PosLaju. I have to still mention here, even with the RM10 extra - the album is truly worth the expense. The songs are all giler best! A mix of my personal favorite music range. My favorite is still decorate / super something / gadis semasa - the video I've posted.

(2) Pouches from Love Bag, Love Bag. These two are just charming little pouches. The first one is a little smaller that what I thought it would be but the color and material is really good. In fact, macam takpercaya jgk bila tgk tu. Funny thing is the name of the color is Choco when it was like the picture dark purple with pink lining. ~hehe... The second one is a bit bigger. In fact, it fits my handphone (Soon, if change to iPhone4 - taktaulah muat ke tak? Eceh, cita-cita mesti tinggi!) So, if to go out with only my IC/License/Cash and Handphone - this fits. It's made of PU material, glossy black. Ada some French writing on it too. According to its description from the site : inspired by Agnes B. (This I have no idea, who. Must google!)

(3) Locket Watch from Phat Culture. Actually, I've been eyeing for the locket watch for quite sometime already. I think probably since before kahwin lagi... Not sure, why i took so long. And now i know how to adjust the timing already, yeay! This is small, a little small compared to what i have in mind. I'm sure there's measurement advised from the site that I wasn't paying attention enough too. So in time I'm not wearing my Swatch/Longines/Fossil watch, here the RM37-pretty-locket watch :)

(4) Dokoh Citra from Koleksi Vispera. I can't seem to remember how I actually landed to the website. But I'm pretty sure it was because of the pretty veils they made for that special day - ada lah link mane while blog-hopping... They are truly just so pretty, the veils I mean... Since, I'm so over it, takkan nak pakai raya - taksesuai ~ Haha! I found out they have a whole collection of these kerongsang perfect to updo that polos / dull baju kurung and of course, your kebaya/kebarung! Cantik giler. Zukry cakap it reminds him of Elly Suriyati from cerita lepas sahur; something called Syurgamu Ramadhan. I just got to agree ;) I saw it too. Hihi...

(5) Mulberry Inspired Alexa Slingbag in Red from Teamo. To get this baby is truly a drama. I've so wanted ones in Hot Pink and Dull Grey like what was offered at Pumpkin but they were sold out. And then, I saw at Lovey-Dovey - that can actually restock both colours, but unfortunately; received a reply - only in black and white are restockable. Sob2. I have made up my mind, if i were to buy one - I'd like to go with colors that is not Black / Dark Brown (or any shades of brown for that matter) / White! So, go for Hot Pink instead (The dull grey is for my comfort aje - in case I'm not brave enough to strut with the Hot Pink!) Guess, it wasn't meant to be. Red is more subtle. I have always love red. I have one red handbag from Fossil, a birthday gift from Mak (mana dia? ... )

OK korang, Cleaning Out My Closet sent me an SMS for a Turqoise bag. Same pattern at RM90 including shipping. I paid RM93 for the red bag, inclusive of shipping. Should i get another one? Oh, i want another one! :) It's not white / black / dark brown nor is it too striking like Hot Pink. Check it out yourself. Leave a comment if i should/shouldn't. (Although, i have a strong feeling even though I shouldn't; I would - giler!)

(6) Long shawls/scarves from NADE NOOK. They are chiffon-silk like, and true as what the creator said; senang dibentuk. Zukry nods during my trials to all six of them. The color is great! Memang cantik2... It's RM15 with NadeNook tag on each of them - which is absolutely cool. I always support handmade items! :) Please check out her collection! Rambang mata! Thursday decided to buy, paid in the evening, Friday was posted - Claimed today at Poslaju!

So, I guess that ends my online shopping of the month. Yes, I know I've been a little crazy; bulan Ramadhan plak lagi. Ish3x.

But friends, the above is nothing compared to my experience shopping with Abu Ubaidah (11 YO) and Balqis (13 YO) from Rumah Anak-Anak Kesayangan Kami, RAAKK from the yearly program Sentuhan Kasih 2010 today. Last year, we were just the subs from the actual contributor - tukang shopping aje. But this year, I went all out. Asking my IOP friends if they'd like to contribute and in total - 6 of us including Zukry, Uthes, KakAdda, Sree, TJ and me give some time and money to these two. The rest share their money lah - but only Zukry and I went shopping. Oh how i adore shopping!

Unfortunately, I didn't have any camera with me (ada 1 / 2 pictures in Zukry's HP tapi takleh nak send pakai bluetooth ke my netbook; taktau nape...) so I can't show you guys how they were and the things we bought. Basically all were necessities for Aidilfitri celebration. Things that we would have bought ourselves...

Very pink baju kurung polos with beading complete with pink Tudung instant and kerongsang for Balqis
Purple baju melayu complete with sampin, songkok and butang baju melayu in dark purple for Abu
Pink blouse and matching darker pink trouser with cool cartoon imprinted on from O'Kayce at Parkson for Balqis
Kiko black long sleeved (requested to be long sleeved, so long sleeved it is!) with Soda Khakis to match
Bata Bubblegums pink sandal with 3-in-1 Soda socks for Balqis while Abu opt for Bata Power black with gold lining shoe with matching socks. Ultimate happiness for Balqis as it was a 1 inch sandal. What a tween dream of, I guess. Abu wants everything in black, according to him "senang, takyah basuh" - or was it, "taksusah basuh" :P
Toilettaries from Watson for both. Termasuklah Shampoo, Toothbrush, Bedak, lalala...

We were among the late ones as the shopping session ends. As you can see, no books / stationeries on the list. But we were actually running out of time already. Terlajak around 40 mins or maybe more kot! Heh.

I guess, today was a beautiful Saturday. Not only i get to enjoy all what I've shopped for online, I get to shop (MORE SHOPPING) for those who actually TRULY need it. 5 Working Days to Cuti Raya...

I have only been updating the post i made before, sorry about that. I have been - distracted! :) Anyway, this is still an update of what have been recently posted. Baju Raya and my online shopping success. Hehe...

Today, in fact just now; I received an SMS from my sewing teacher about the 4 pairs of Baju Raya sent to her for sulaman and beading work. She told me about the price and that they are all ready for pick up tomorrow! How great is that. The price was actually lesser than what I thought it would be, and I'm so grateful for that. Plus i have deposited some amount, so it doesn't feel too expensive anymore. Hopefully, they are all wonderful as what I have in mind right now :P

And today too, I have received my Locket Watch which was absolutely cute. Cuma time dia - camne nak adjust? dia cam terlambat 10 min... :( And a Poslaju note, i think that must be the Yuna - Decorate album and a kebaya kerongsang (they called is as Dokoh) bought online too. So tomorrow at noon, i'll be out and about - running errands for all these. I bet the Red bag will be in Miri tomorrow too. I can call in the morning just to make sure. Yay!

I think the topic is appropriate in this holy Ramadan :) I have successfully purchased 2 bags of the same pattern but in different colours, 2 pouches - as stated in the blog-shop; coin and keys pouch and a locket watch.
Apparently, the bags weren't restockable. I asked for a hot pink and grey, and i couldn't get both but money has been refunded. Alhamdulillah... So i went searching at another blog and bought a red one instead. :)

I have received the pouches. So cute and slim (unlike tuan nya!) However one is rather small than what I have in mind, but no worries both are just gorgeous, clean cut - cantiklah :) Retrieved it directly from Pusat Mel Miri. Now, the locket watch is supposedly here already. Rasanya posman dah hantar ke Pusat Mel balik, since I takde kat umah kot~ kenal kol esok.

Even though i don't have to buy anything for buka this weekend except for some desserts as we attended two potlucks and kenyang bagai nak giler, I couldn't resist shopping online!

Need to stop. But the tudungs for raya belum beli! :) Ish3.

Zukry's away to Bowling alley after his Tarawih now. Don't ask me why there's a bowling game plak this month. Guess, if that's considered healthy exercise - why not... :) Better than the wife googling away, blogging and what not. Hehe...

So onto the subject. This year I have a total of 7 baju altogether made not specifically for the celebration ~ Aidilfitri but I guess looking at the ETC of all of them, they are going to be my baju raya. Agak tamak, NO? hehe... So let me list down all 7 of them!

I sent chiffon like material to Dzoul at Bagan Serai. The boutique that did my wedding there at Zukry's place. Our theme for the year is green. So, i'm going to wear lime green and Zukry will wear a darker shade of green... It was supposed to be completed in July - but we haven't got the chance to balik kampung, so it's still there. I'm a bit worry about this number because I was measured way back when --- May I think. So, if i've grown during these times --- gosh, I'm not able to fit into THE baju raya! So berpuasalah, wahai Teeny :)
Vietnam Cotton - bought from dearest Aunty, MakTam balik for Tahirah's wedding aritu. This was later sent to Mak (via Pos Express) as I thought at first; I'd like to use it as one of my sewing class, but tak jadi. This is magically turn into a Kebarung with a twist (crossing fingers that Peggy the Tailor will marvel me with the Twist!)
Kamdar Cotton - good thumbs up for the color and the pattern from Mak and Peggy, even though it's from Kamdar and I think it was RM8 per metre! What a steal... This too will turn into a Kebarung Pesak like #2.
OK, the other 4 sent to my sewing class teacher - Cikgu Nayah and Cikgu Rusaimah. Cikgu Nayah for the baju itself and Cikgu Rusaimah for the hand crafted sulaman and beading works. So, first up is the satin from China received from Abg's Cabutan Bertuah at our 2010 Family Day last CNY. This will be turned into a baju kurung pesak gantung with Simo (how its spelled, i don't know!) It's the tulang belut/mata lalat thing on the collar but a bit more extravagant. Hehe.
The second one is also from China received from Abg Zukry's (Abg? :D) cabutan bertuah family day jugak :P This also will be baju kurung pesak gantung with sulaman insyaAllah... berapa-lah harganya nanti agaknya.
Patterned Chiffon-like material that is going to be my second baju kurung modern with sulaman and beading work on it. Hope this one turn out great too. The material is from Labuan and a steal at below RM50 per pasang!
Lastly, navy blue satin with batik sarong. This will be another baju kurung pesak gantung with heavy sulam. Also from Labuan :)

So, what do you think about this? Crazy, kan? Things i do for my obsession with clothes! Shhhussh! I can repeat these 4 times this Syawal 1431 :)

Berbuka Puasa at Lot 7368

Salam to all. Just want to update a little bit on the Majlis Berbuka Makan Kecil-Kecilan at Lot 7368 yesterday. I think, I did OK! I mean, the rice was cooked nicely - that basically following whatever recipe found on the internet and erfected by Izza's mum whom she called about 3/4 of the time rice was still in cooking mode :) The chicken - I'm not quite sure as I was afraid to touch them, in case takcukup! Kesian tak? I really hope they were OK. We had the already boiled chicken honey glazed and fried while another half mildly marinated and steamed. Chilli sauce is coutersy of KakAdda while chicken soup by dearest housemate, Izza.

There were Iced Lychee, Teh-C-Peng special; where people enjoyed more at doing it and see if they successfully created the 3 layers than finishing the actual product! :) Local fruits galore - Yellow watermelon and rambutans. Bottomline, GREAT COMPANY to have Buka Puasa with! That's the most important objective - met!

Thanks to those yang datang, today was just another berbuka sorang2 day... but alhamdulillah kenyang. I'm just too sleepy today. Better catch on with some sleep, else gi kerja ZZZZZZZZzzzz.... ;P

Change Euro to Bahrain Dinar (Was it EU10 or EU20, takingat...)

Sunset at Bahrain. This is taken from the area where we stayed. We were taking the next flight out to London at 0100 HRS Bahrain time. So, we get to enjoy a little bit of the city while waiting for free dinner at the hotel :)

One of our first trip on the long and high escalators Underground. Mizan may not like this... Hehe

There, us almost immediately when we saw the London eye. The weather greeted us so well. It was warm and windy (I like). After we arrived, we waited a little bit at the airport for our host, Rozie. Nicest kid in town! Hehe... We went back to drop our heavy and big bags, get ready and headed out back to explore London. Tak-menyempat!

Zukry was always with the bigger camera, my dad's. Snapping pictures all over the city. Didn't care much of who, what, when to capture... just snap, snap, snap! We worried a little too much on not getting enough memories to look at the first few hours of this little trip...

In front of Westminster Abbey, thank God for Firdaus. He took care of us after Rozi left for her lab.

This was in front of the Buckingham Palace. Takdapat nak appreciate sangat, even though I already what it looks like - it didn't seem to have marvel me. Maybe the inside can... :)

Trafalgar Square where the England and Mexico supporters gather to show their support to their respective teams for the friendly game that night. Tapi England supporters, ada lah 5 kerat kat belakang tu. Huhu...

and to end the day, i just had to call my cousin all the way from Brunel Uni; to simply meet up and have dinner. Kena amek gambar sebagai prove to his mother. Amanah ni. Haha! He's in KL at my house now, (while rumah dia ada major renovation) enjoying his summer hols.

Teeny's Pregnant? - Not Yet

While Zukry is running his belly off, I'm at McDonald's Labuan. He sent me here at 6.30 in the morning and get to his Labuan Run, he participated. I know I should be there cheering for him, NO - I know i should be there running too, apekan daya; takterdaya! Takmahu seribu dalih - PERIOD.

One of the random thing i wish to put up last week, was the fact that I shouldn't be doing pregnancy test every 2 days after I knew my period was delayed last week. I was anxious and just could wait to find out. We are currently trying, as we decided the distance is not stopping us for this anymore. There's no urgency / pressure of getting one little baby but an addition to the already big family is one that many is waiting for too... but yeah, we think that we are ready for a baby.

So last week, was the missed period week. my anxiety made me a calculative bi*ch. I was marking calendars, visiting the due date calendar at many different sites, reading up and down of the first 2 chapters "What to Expect When You're Expecting" --- basically I was like ex-Mrs Shuester. Like literally... like the doctor in Glee said, "... you want a baby so bad that your body mimics the symptoms..." I started feeling all the symptoms (kononnya lah but actually it's more of my body is making all the symptoms significant) When all of that were just telling me that period is coming, do you know that it's almost the same...?

Anyway, i'm glad that I have my period. Because that means I'm ovulating still :) Boleh ke cakap camtu kat sini. Ah, who reads this anyway? setakat Ika, KakLong and Maktam tu - boleh diterima lagi... Heheh. How are you girls? I miss KL - This is my 1 month away from KL. From Mak, annoying but well-loved siblings, cousins and the circus at Lot 3026! :)

So, while waiting for Zukry; I've decided to put up an entry exclusively for the UK/France trip. Ah i miss London & the ever-romantic Paris...

Zukry cakap over breakfast and internet surfing at McDonald's Labuan Airport "Lebih baik hidung tersumbat, daripada taik hidung terkeluar" --- Haha! That should be his status on FB, taksure if he put it on or not! He was saying that sebab his hidung tersumbat, and taik hidung he saw on mine! Grossy-gross! :)

Some random things:

I have to read MORE. Allocate sometime to read. Takperlu pn sebenarnya, just stop doing crappy stuffs. Jangan buang masa. Period. Penting utk tambah vocab yang sememangnya kurang giler, else i'd be writing giler best lagi bagus.
Rajinkan diri ke bank for ASB savings. The before plan for savings are no longer enough, misti mau upgrade! :) Semalam pakai tipu je orang bank tu bila dia tanya dah buat ASB loan ke belum. I belum, tapi jawab dah

A Planned Surprise is not a Surprise

Hi all (Again)
I'm in KLIA alone (for yet another time) after a meeting in PETT today. It was a daily trip, so I was up from 4.20 AM today morning and only will arrive at home at around 11.45 PM. I think this is not healthy but many other things I did was unhealthy either. Haha! It was once in a quarter thing kot.

Anyway, while I am here - Zukry is in Miri right at this moment. Probably enjoying 'Knight and Day' at Bintang Plaza, killing time while waiting for me to arrive (insyaAllah safely) It was supposed to be our planned surprise thing - where he would just travel to accompany me in Miri - sesaje. Little that we know, my company had to send me to a meeting on the day that we planned. Since we get enough to justify I should attend & be a good employee, Zukry enjoyed his free time in Miri while I get to enjoy mine too here... despite the many action items waiting from the meeting itself. Huhu.

Oh, i just got start fasting again! My experience yesterday, fasting after so long (I think my last time was when I finished my puasa 6 last year!) was terrible. Headaches that was nearly unbearable. I was tired the whole day, dozed off in meetings, i just got to stop working and take a nap because I was just so ~ sigh... I just got to train my body to not eat too much! Ape nak jadik?

OKlah, it's almost 8. I got to board already. InsyaAllah, we want to try and get Maxis broadband this weekend. Sree, if you're reading this - I'm a little influenced by your recommendation! Hehehe... If Maxis get to solve my internet problem, I will write more in the near future. I want to update our Euro trip last month so much! :)

Wedding Weekend in KL

Hi all.
This was written on Sunday on my 'sophisticated' phone :)

I'm alone again at KLIA after a weekend with friends, family and husband. I am now waiting for the next flight to Miri to continue yet another week without husband. I think this is our more than 52 weeks NOT together. Haha! Seriously, I hate to have had weekdays of only phone calls, emails, chat, SMS, unsure of the meaning of each messages...

Anyway, this weekend was all about Tahirah's wedding actually. I bought ticket specially to attent it. Tahirah, if you're reading this - you're truly the star of the night! I still can't consume it was actually a garden wedding! Haha.

That's all of us. Great times!

If all have to know (which I don't think is necessary pun), I actually shopped for last night. Thought of buying a kurung/kebaya but ended up a little too casual with an expensive (yes, indeed) blouse and skirt that comes with a great twirl effect! :) Seb baik it was a garden wedding, at night - so I think I was not over or under dress...! But still, I could have put a little more effort and money to look and feel more glamourous.

Best part about last night besides seeing gorgeous Tahirah walking down the red carpet with Hadi was actually bonding and seeing my beloved SAB friends whom I treasured so much! Amy, a doctor and 8 months pregnant, Anis; a lecturer and 5 months pregnant, Za with her fiance whom I first met, Sajidah & Mawarni - my two favourite single ladies...! Great times, I thought we were still that goofy Puteri Islam girls we were back then in SAB... Hihi!

Had a little misunderstandings with dearest husband. I'm sorry about this Zukry..., but we were putting expectations and own ideas that we didn't share enough. Zukry was really supportive about me having a great time with my girlfriends when I thought all he could think about was the meet-up with his friends to watch Argentina beaten up by Germany like he planned. So, we went back at around 10.30 PM; instead of waiting a little longer like Tahirah has expected us to do - Shian dia...

Pasangan sedondon lagi bahagia - menanti perut diisi that little person rather than fat. Haha!

Anyway, the weekend felt shorter somehow. What with the maid runaway, the other wedding (KAM's) at Kajang and the sleep on the floor in the living room... Hihi. I miss Zukry already...

Dear Readers,

I'm back from that London/Paris/Manchester trip which BTW was awesome! I may have underestimated the whole plan, so I was really overwhelmed of how extremely fun the trip was, and that was GOOD... :)

Today, that second Monday after the trip - i feel a little better than the last, and ready to venture a new set of plan (because for the last six months, it has always been about the trip... hehehe) This half of 2010 will be about what? I guess you have to continue 'singgah' here, to know.

Very sorry for the lack of entry this month. I'm counting days for our little trip, and busily preparing ourselves. Yeah, right. Not so much! Haha. I want to blame the internet connection. Ever since we lost our Streamyx heaven in Lutong Baru, Senadin with it's poor Celcom reception; give me less motivation to write more. If you are in my head, you would know that I'd like to write as I have quite a number of stories, thoughts or simply wants to mumble. Hehehe...

Anyway, moving on... After the unfortunate incident - break-in last month; we took the house security business really seriously. We have all locked in, taped all curtains, just go nuts on securing the windows & doors. Miri Police has captured that culprit and he's a local from Lutong area! Apparently, he admitted the crime too. So, Izza was called to give her statement in court next week. All her stuffs were retrieved back with exception of the 2 phones. But they became barang siasatan, so takleh dapat balik. Kecuali keretalah...

Onto my sewing class. Have I mentioned that I attended sewing class? :) I have finished 2 baju kurungs, 1 that I have worn 2 times to the office! And the other was my first after so long, so it was not up to Miri office quality. Hihi... So that means, it sucks! :P Now, I'm currently finishing up my long blouse's cuff and hopefully I can finish it by today's class. I have also initiated another blouse that I did myself but I still got to refer to 'cikgu' as its collar is wrong and weird thus tak-lawa...

As for my most anticipated activity of 2010, I have 2 more days to work and this week starting last Monday, i just really can't contain the excitement!

At the moment, I'm psych about having my things to do list slashed out. Well, on personal matters not on work matters. The later won't finish, Ever. Haha! I get to renew my passport today. Went up and down, in and out of the Jabatan Imigresen to copy things. First stop was to get my passport picture taken. I love how technology helps all my pimples go away in my picture. I'm flawless! :) Agak2 tertipu tak orang kastam kat London nnt? Haha!

Then after all that, I make a stop at Miri LHDN to pay off my dues. Well, not yet the paying off part, but at least I'm done with the e-filing thing! A big Yay... Hehehe... All the process with LHDN have been pretty easy thing to me. Everything went out smoothly, starting from getting my e-pin! I made a visit to their counter just to check my historical payment, which was actually none since I haven't paid off 2008 tax! Nasib baik sket je. Beli jeans pun tak lepas :)

I'm also set to visit Cinderella & all other Disney princesses at Disneyland Paris. We bought the ticket last Saturday! What a feeling, I have always wanted to go to Disneyland... I am still watching Disney channel every now and then. So it's pretty much something I just want to do when we decided to have this little trip :) Zukry had that "really?-we-have-to-go-there?" thought but heck, YES we are going!

May is just really nearing and I can't stop but to tick of the calendar every single day. Calculating days to go back to KL for the final preparation. Oh, this week - off to Tanah Semenanjung for a visit to my MIL in Perak. This time, we are driving. Arriving on Thursday night and lepak at Ampang - the next morning only, we driving off to Zukry's hometown. Jangan lupa bawak kain, kena start hantar kain for Raya...! :)

At Home - Not Mine

Hi All :)

Not sure if that smiley is appropriate. It certainly does not reflect the way I'm feeling right now...

Well, first and foremost; I'm in Miri already. Just came back from a lovely weekend with dearest husband for his birthday... Nothing special per say, but seeing him after a week away is worth the time spent which was probably about 30 hours? Kan, Zukry? :)

Most of the time spend at home/restaurant. Rendezvous by the beach eating chicken wing & most of the time, Zukry was clicking away trying my dad's camera that we plan to bring along during our trip next month...

So, why the not-so-great feeling?

I'm now at Hasfa's house. Not that it's a bad thing! (Hasfa, Thank you for letting us squeezed in) It's just that we are still uncomfortable to go back to our house. Izza was not confident. I lost my confidence once I depart from Labuan - basically the security that Zukry brought to me whenever he's around lost to I-don't-know-where. So, we are back to the question onto whether we should move out from that house.

It's not that the house has its own negative vibe... Of course, after such incident (and when you don't know where the b*st**ds entered) we worried about the things that we are unable to justify. Looks like we have to scram in other people place first this week until we regain that confidence and security... I have to also list all the potential area and pro/cons on moving (again)

I have this dream of having my next move only BACK TO KUALA LUMPUR. Not to another house in Miri... I don't only hate the hassle, but that also will somehow an act of saying that I'm going to stay here for another year or two, which I don't like.

I'm tired and I can't sleep. Or I don't want to sleep? This is because of McD's coffee. Maybe... I miss dearest Zukry so much already. Can I be that ngengada? Hehe... Zukry misses me too, cuma dia dah selamat tido :)

Lot 7368 - We found it!

Nak dijadikan cerita, we found Izza's car. Well, at least Miri Police did, and it was parked just behind the police station where we lodged our report. All Izza's belongings that were in the car like her 'Beading Class" stuffs were all untouchable. Including her treasured Yonex badminton sport shoes and heels that we did not forget to report...

It's was not a recovery to what have happened. Now with this really good news, the lost from Saturday unfortunate incident were the handphones & purse. Izza had also successfully renewed all that were necessary like ATM/Credit Cards, Driving License and most importantly, her IC. But to go back home, this Senadin house; together with Izza on Sunday is still somewhat scary. I wish to have Zukry with us, to accompany me for the whole week at least until we are comfortable enough...

The house owner went to see the house on Saturday itself, but made a conclusion since no force entry were found - not to enhance security whatsoever. He was there to just see the damaged done! Hello, isn't that so ignorant of him?! Ish3x...

Anyway, I've been receiving a lot of advices for us to move out and find a safer neighborhood. Is there such thing here in Miri? The gated residence area is expensive! Lutong Baru has its risk too. Nov 2008 post was 1 of the example. Please lah, let me go --- I want to go back when I feel most secured. Home in Ampang :)

Izza lost her car, 2 mobile phones and purse.

I on the other hand have lost nothing, but become terribly scared...

The incident happened when we were at home. When I have actually heard the sound of Izza's car and thought that she has somewhat became so 'semangat' to go to the Walkathon that morning! If only...

Everyone is telling that we were 'pukau-ed', and I don't want to believe it. But it's the only thing that makes sense. Because? Of the many reasons I could not describe here. The Ferrero Roche wraps, the different ASTRO channel, the honk that stupid thieves (or thief) made...

No force entry too! All gates and windows are in perfect condition!

After 5 days in Labuan - which was total bliss but hot-hot-hot, I'm at home continuing life as usual... It was really hot and very dry both at Labuan and here too, in Miri. Lucky that we actually decided to stay at a budget hotel during the weekend. Sedap dapat air-cond! :) Zukry, belikan aircond for my room here in Miri, boleh? :P

Hi everyone. Teeny writing from Miri Airport. Flight to Labuan is retimed from 1800 hours to 2030 hours. How ridiculous is that? I hope Zukry is cooled down when I arrived. He booked seafood gala at Anjung Ketam for us and Kak Laila. Unfortunately, with KakLaila not having ticket to fly tonight (she's in the waiting list) and now that I'm stuck still in Miri; he had to tapau the whole lot for us back to the hotel.

And many thanks to dearest Zukry, I get to sleep in a comfy bed at Waterfront Hotel instead of the budget "Sara" Hotel my company booked for me. How lame! Kufur nikmat nak duk tempat cheapo! Believe me, I've stayed there before...

My Labuan trip is an official trip. I have Tanker Meeting to attend, alone this month. I'm taking an off day this Friday; but i sense that I had to be working nonetheless. Anyway, life goes on... huhu.

Can't wait to fly of to London! Really, can't wait!

Counting down to the actual date is like wedding jitters all over again! BEST!
